EESeCell

At EES, we utilise the polymer electrolyte membrane (PEMFC) fuel cell to create electricity. The PEMFC uses a polymeric membrane that has an operating temperature between 40-70°C. The low operating temperature and solid membrane makes it an ideal choice for both portable and stationary applications. In particular, the PEMFC is widely regarded to be the fuel cell of choice to meet long term replacement of ICE’s for automotive applications.

The EESeSTACK

EES has developed a proprietary stack architecture which has made all stack components suitable for mass manufacture, resulting in significant reductions in stack material costs and improvements to stack power densities.

The EESeSTACK has a unique stack architecture that compromises of passive and active components. This results in material selection that is specific to certain functionality and materials that are well matched to mass manufacturing processes. The stack is modular, and can be scaled up to meet various power outputs with minimal changes to system topology.

The EESeSTACK will have two core modular units aimed at different target markets:

  • Air cooled 1kW stack unit for mobile applications.
  • Water cooled 5kW for stationary and uninterrupted power supply.

The benefits of this stack are:

  • Controllable DC output.
  • Low cost.
  • Modular-can be easily stacked up to meet various power demands.
  • Integrated fault tolerance system.
